For all ten of you who read this, thank you! I hope I’m not too boring.

I’ve been a bookworm ever since I learned to read. As with many of my generation, my first book was Harry Potter, and I was instantly obsessed. I had a Harry Potter themed birthday party (I believe this would have been the year 2000), went to those iconic midnight release parties, and cried when Dumbledore died and Snape was revealed to not be as bad of a guy as we originally thought…

But a few years ago I just decided I wanted to write a book. And I did. It wasn’t a good book and you’ll likely never read it, but I did it! And I was proud!

And then the stories started forming. I’ve had a difficult time the last year or so getting the words out, but I’m committed to it now. I want Carys and Taran to get their time on the page. I want you, the reader, to fall in love with Môrdinas and cheer Carys on her journey to discovering her own power—with and without magic.
